What is Al Masraf Mobile Banking App?
Al Masraf Mobile Banking app is a new banking channel which will provide customers seamless connectivity to the Bank. With this new app, customers can access their account details, make Credit Card payments, transfer money and payments at their convenience, through Smartphones.
How do I get started?
  • To get started, first you need to download Al Masraf Mobile Banking App from App Store for IOS devices or Google Play for Android devices if you are already registered for our Online Banking.
  • If you are not registered on our Online banking, please follow the below steps as you will need the Online Banking user ID and password to use the Mobile Banking app.
    • Go www.almasraf.ae
    • Select Online Banking
    • Then, select Personal online banking
    • Go to New user registration
    • Enter your Debit/Credit card number
    • Enter your card PIN
    • Enter One Time Password OTP which you will receive on your register mobile number
    • Create your own User ID and Password
  • For customer’s account(s) protection, it is required to register the device. After successful log-in, the customer will receive one-time password on his/her registered mobile number with the bank. He/she needs to input this password to complete device registration.
How do I know if my phone is compatible?
Al Masraf Mobile Banking App is available currently for Apple IOS and Android mobile phone. In addition, it is available for Apple iPad and Android Tablets. In the near future, it will be available in Apple Watch and Samsung Gear.
How do I check if I have internet connection on my phone or how do I subscribe?
Go to your mobile phone’s web browser and try opening any website (for example: google.com) If the site opens you have an active connection. If it does not open, you need to subscribe for the facility by contacting your telecom service provider for mobile data or connect through Wi-Fi network.
Can my friend get access to his account using the Al Masraf Mobile Banking App installed on my phone?
No. Once the App is installed and registered, another customer’s account cannot be accessed on the same device.
What should I do if I experience difficulty downloading or using this application?

I have two mobile phones can I have access to Al Masraf Mobile Banking App for my account on both my phones?
Yes. You can use our mobile application on a maximum of 5 devices.
What do I do if my OTP has expired or not received?
In case your One Time Password expired, you need to request for another one by entering your user ID and password to get a new OTP.
If my app access is locked, how can I Unlock it?
In case you have been locked out from Al Masraf Mobile App or forgot your password, you need to do the following:
  • Enter your debit or credit card number.
  • Then enter your card PIN.
  • After that, enter your One Time Password (OTP) which you will receive on your registered mobile number
  • Finally, enter a new password
Can I access Al Masraf Mobile App when I am outside UAE?
Yes. As long as you downloaded the app and successfully registered your device, you can access the app from anywhere in the world. Still when using Al Masraf Mobile App outside UAE, please be aware that you will be responsible for complying with laws in countries you are traveling to. In addition, your network provider may charge you for roaming service and Al Masraf will not responsible for such charges or any misuse of the mobile app service.

How can I create beneficiary for funds transfer?
To create or amend beneficiary, you need to follow the following steps:
  • Fill up beneficiary details required fields
  • Enter One Time Password which you will get on your registered mobile number
  • It will take one working day to activate beneficiary registration
What shall I do if I lost my mobile phone with Al Masraf Mobile App downloaded on it?
  • You need to call our call center 600529999 to unregister the device so Al Masraf mobile app will not be used.
  • If you want to sell your mobile or give it a way, you need to uninstall Al Masraf mobile app.
  • However, any financial transaction/ loss taking place will be your responsibility if the user ID and password are compromised/in possession of any individual other than you. So, please do not ever save your password on your device or document/write down the password anywhere. Please remember that the bank will never ask you by phone, e mail or any other mode of communication for your password. So, do not share with anybody.
Is Al Masraf Mobile App secure?
Our app is highly secure and robust. We’ve put the following measures in place to protect you:

Al Masraf Mobile Banking app will display Active, New, Lost, Blocked and Expired cards. The only cards you cannot view is cancelled cards.
Can I use Al Masraf Mobile Banking app if I am not an Online Banking customer?
You need to register to Al Masraf Online Banking service first to be able to access Mobile Banking app. However, by downloading the mobile app, still you can see ATMs and branches locator, currency convertor, bank’s promotions. In addition, you can submit a request to apply for a product or services.
When I want to make money transfer using Al Masraf Mobile app, what are related transfer charges?
You need to refer to table of charges to know exact charge amount. While performing your money transfer, you will have to options, either “Pay in Full” where all charges are being deducted from your account with Al Masraf. Or you can chose “Share”, where normal transfer charges will be deducted from your account. At the same time, beneficiary will receive the transfer less inward charges which be deducted from transfer amount.
What happens if I permanently change my mobile phone number?
As long you downloaded the app and register the device, you still can use Al Masraf Mobile service. The only thing that whenever you need One Time Password OTP, it will be sent to your registered mobile number with the bank. So we advise you to immediately visit any of our branches with valid Emirate ID to update your new number in the bank’s system.
How do I use the ATM and branch locator?
This widget will give you Al Masraf branches or ATM’s close to your location.
Can I download statements from Al Masraf Mobile App?
No, you cannot download statements from Mobile App, still you can view your transactions for the last 12 months. In case you still need the statement; .you can download it from Al Masraf Online Banking.
Will the app keep on running if forget to log-out?
No, your Mobile Banking session will time out automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Will the app cost anything to download or run?
Al Masraf Mobile App is provided free of charge for downloading and using. Other charges related to different requests like money transfers will apply as per table of fees and charges. Please be aware that you may be charged to by your network provider for using mobile data to access the app.
